with quality & care.
It didn’t take long for people to take notice, and Paul realized his creation’s potential. In 1987, he founded String Swing and, with the help of his family and a machinist friend, began manufacturing parts and assembling hangers in his home. Musicians raved about the hanger’s secure deep cradle design, and as the business outgrew his basement, Paul sold his farm and moved to Ontario, Wisconsin to build a machine shop and pursue his new dream.
Today, String Swing builds the strongest, safest, and most accessible instrument displays on the market – trusted to hold over 10 million guitars worldwide. Our catalog has expanded to instruments of all kinds, from strings to woodwinds and percussion. Still proudly family-owned and American-made in our Midwest facility, we continue to refine our designs, provide excellent customer service, and uphold the highest standards of quality. From our humble beginnings to today, our goal remains the same: to build convenient, dependable, and beautifully crafted instrument displays that encourage musicians to pursue their passion.
Thanks to its pivoting yoke, the CC01K can accommodate a wide range of acoustic, electric, and bass guitars. For guitars with wider necks, we would recommend the original CC01. Measure the width of your guitar's neck before choosing the right yoke.

Each CC01K hanger is rated to hold 15 lbs.
We offer hangers for a wide variety of other string instruments, including ukuleles, violins, banjos, cellos, and dulcimers. These mounts use the same innovative deep cradle, designed to securely hold every string instrument you own. Choose whichever hanger best matches your instrument or the width of its neck.
Absolutely! Our guitar holders are designed with a pivoting feature that adjusts to headstocks of all shapes, ensuring that your instrument hangs completely vertically. We recommend turning the yoke all the way into the fixture and backing it out half a turn, so it can freely pivot to accommodate your instrument's headstock style.
Our composite material will not eat into the nitro of your guitar like most foams and rubbers do. Fender, Gibson, and Martin all use our products in their showrooms and at trade shows on both their standard and high-nitro finished guitars. However, there are some things that are out of our control that prevent us from putting an unconditional guarantee that no marking will ever occur. Please read more in our Nitrocellulose Statement.
If you have more questions, give us a call at 1-888-455-6628 and ask for Travis. He'll gladly discuss any nitrocellulose-related questions in further depth.
We offer free shipping on orders over $50. If the order total is less than $50, regular shipping charges apply. Free shipping applies to retail sales only, and does not include distributor or dealer sales, nor does it apply to additional handling charges for oversized boxes. All online orders are shipped via USPS Mail or UPS Ground service, unless otherwise specified.
